sorry but areadbhar made from the foot of an aquatic dragon and aegis from the keel of an avian dragon is still one of my favourite little lore things!!!! I am always thinking about “if a fish and bird fell in love, where would they live?” as an old faerghus riddle and the answer is of course fraldarius and blaiddyd where the land meets the sea. the keel being both that which protects the bird and helps it fly and the thing which steers and holds the ship upright is also so possibly unintended but very poignant symbolism of intsys!!!!!!

anyway so wonderfully and horribly poetic for coastal fraldarius with its pegasus knight ancestor to have brought this particular dragon down from the skies.

The trick, he’s learned, is to just start moving before you really have a chance to think about it. It’s easy when you’re so tired, anyway. No questions asked. Just roll out of bed groggily and stumble towards the bathroom before you can talk yourself out of it.

(It’s all too easy to convince someone who’s already mostly-asleep to just stay that way.)
